Paul-Kane Building

THE PROJECT: Design of plans and quotations as well as supervision for the construction of an industrial building of approximately 86,000 sq. ft. on Paul-Kane Street in Laval. The building includes an 81,000 square foot warehouse and a 5,000 square foot office space. The project was processed entirely on a building basis. For the administrative section, future connection spaces have been provided in the areas where there would eventually be toilets/kitchen facilities. Under this mandate we were responsible for the coordination of the other disciplines (structure, fire protection, electricity and architecture).

Our mandate included the following disciplines:
Plumbing:
– distribution and heating of domestic water ;
– natural gas distribution ;
– sanitary and storm drainage – within the building and up to 1 m outside ;
– future connection for administrative spaces.
Ventilation, heating and cooling :
– Roof top units and air distribution ;
– Auxiliary heating for the distribution docks;
– Air evacuation;
– Air conditioning unit for the server room.
Regulation – controls.
– Sequences and control diagrams of the ventilation units.
