When we founded CARBONIC, we all made the same observation.
The performance and cost of ME engineering concepts were all too often compromised by a lack of rigor in matching needs and a insufficient follow-up during construction.
Mechanical and electrical designs frequently encountered integration and functionality issues, resulting in rework, major construction delays and, ultimately, major financial losses.
Our conclusions were unanimous:
ME engineering suffered from a lack of consultation, often carried out in watertight silos between engineers, architects, builders, property managers and developers.

Associate Engineer - Chairman and CEO
A passionate and meticulous entrepreneur, Simon Davidson knows how to rally CARBONIC around a common and innovative vision, which he promotes in both private and public markets. After graduating from McGill University with an engineering degree in electrical engineering, Simon distinguished himself with a model career in management, executive and development positions for major Canadian engineering firms, before taking over the management of CARBONIC. His involvement in the consulting engineering field, both nationally and internationally, is particularly noteworthy.

Associate Engineer - Senior Project Manager - Co-founder
Focused on results, Jean-Michel Bisaillon stands out for his strong commitment to efficiency strategies and innovation. Jean-Michel brings to CARBONIC exceptional expertise in assessing problems and designing solutions in dynamic partnership with customers. He is a master at developing and implementing the most effective ME technologies. A career engineer, Jean-Michel's high level of competence stems from a remarkable track record in the field.

Managing Partner Frédéric Bernier is a seasoned designer recognized for his ability to solve complex problems and deliver effective solutions. With in-depth expertise in building mechanical codes and standards, he ensures compliant, optimized designs for every project. ANDRÉ LAVALLÉE
Strategic development consultant
André Lavallée is an essential mentor and specialized resource on the CARBONIC team, with particular expertise in ME engineering and plumbing systems design. His long career in engineering was enriched by his previous experience as technical director for a manufacturer of plumbing products for public buildings. The vast network of contacts developed by André Lavallée over the course of his career, and his involvement in numerous professional and social organizations, are a very significant contribution to CARBONIC.
SAMUEL GAUDETTE, ing.
Associate Engineer
Partner and project manager in building mechanics, Samuel Gaudette stands out for his expertise in design management and his keen understanding of multidisciplinary issues. With 17 years' experience, he ensures rigorous coordination and unrivalled quality of service, overseeing the harmonious integration of mechanical systems in complex projects. His proactive, solutions-oriented approach enables him to anticipate challenges and deliver sustainable designs that meet customer standards and expectations.
STÉPHANE BOUCHARD, ing.
Associate Engineer - Project Manager
Stéphane Bouchard holds a bachelor's degree in electromechanical systems engineering from the Université du Québec at Rimouski. He also obtained his first bachelor's degree in architecture from Université Laval. He has worked as a project manager and designer on a variety of mechanical and electrical building projects. His achievements have led him to work with various ministries, health and social services centers, etc. In recent years, he has taken a keen interest in energy conservation and green building design.
